Police investigate shooting in Carbondale; 1 injured

CARBONDALE, Ill., (KBSI) — Police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Saturday in the 400 block of North Washington Street.

Officers responded to Memorial Hospital of Carbondale at 3:39 a.m. where they met with a victim who had a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

The victim reported that the shooting stemmed from a recent dispute with acquaintances.
