Police respond to hostage situation in downtown St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KBSI) – Police responded to scene of a hotel in downtown St. Louis Wednesday morning for a hostage situation.

Authorities say an armed man was holding a woman and children in a room, according to FOX2NOW in St. Louis.

Two children from inside the room were released as of 9:30 a.m.

St. Louis police evacuated guests from the building, according to FOX2NOW.
