3 wanted men in Dyersburg shooting arrested

DYERSBURG, Tenn. (KBSI) – Police arrested three men accused of shooting a Dyersburg man Saturday night.

Police responded to Longfellow Street around 11 p.m. March 12 in reference to a man who had been shot.

Officers found a 22-year-old Dyersburg man suffering from a gunshot wound. He had been shot at by at least three gunmen, who left the scene in a dark colored SUV, after a relative of the victim returned fire on the gunmen, according to the Dyersburg Police Department.

The victim was airlifted to a Memphis hospital where his condition is unknown.

Dyersburg City Court issued warrants for aggravated assault.

Damaris Neal, 21, Deshawn Gorman, 24, and Demauzay Jackson, 19, all of Dyersburg are being held pending Dyersburg City Court action.
