Police urge caution near Perryville Seminary Picnic

PERRYVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) — Drivers should expect increased vehicle and pedestrian traffic near the annual Seminary Picnic this weekend, according to Perryville police.

Motorists traveling near West St. Joseph Street, also known as Highway T, and Sycamore Drive should slow down, remain alert and allow additional travel time.

Officers will patrol the picnic grounds Friday and Saturday nights. The department’s command bus will also be available for anyone who needs assistance.

Drivers should watch for pedestrians and follow all posted traffic signs.
