Police working toward resolution with person with gun barricaded in building in DuQuoin

DU QUOIN, Ill. (KBSI) – Illinois State Police say the man with a gun who barricaded himself inside a building in Du Quoin has come outside and was taken into custody.

ISP reports there were no injuries to anyone involved with the incident.

Illinois State Police District 10 troopers were first sent to the 200 block of W. Park Street on Wednesday, May 3 at 1:25 p.m. for a report of a person with a gun barricaded in a building.
