Poplar Bluff kindergartners entertained by performing couple

POPLAR BLUFF Mo. (KBSI) – Brian and Terri Kinder of Little Rock performed Halloween music for the kindergartners and the neighboring Early Childhood Center on October 20.

The Kinders have been playing original children’s songs on tour since 2008.

The duo has been performing for the Poplar Bluff School District for about a decade performing up to three times a year, according to the Poplar Bluff School District.

The Kinders have several albums available for purchase at kindersongs.com, as well as a children’s book.

A Fredericktown native, singer/songwriter Brian has a degree in music and taught fine arts in the Little Rock public school system for over two decades before taking an early retirement to pursue his music career. His wife Terri, an X-ray technician in her past life, took on a more prominent supporting role, eventually providing lead vocals on several songs, according to Poplar Bluff School District.

The Kinders will return to Poplar Bluff Early Childhood Center families at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, in the Kay Porter Theater with a Christmas show.
