Poplar Bluff PD catch juvenile making social media threats to school

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (KBSI) – On September 12, 2024, officers with the Poplar Bluff Police Department responded to the Poplar Bluff Highschool for a threat assessment in reference to a social media post.

Officers conducted a threat assessment and spoke with students who had made a report to school staff.

Officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of W. Henry St., in reference to threats.

After investigation it was determined a juvenile had sent other juveniles a threat through social media which constituted as a terroristic threat.

The investigation was handed over to the juvenile office.
