Poplar Bluff police investigating vehicle thefts

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (KBSI) – Poplar Bluff police are investigating several vehicle thefts that happened that occurred overnight. Some of the vehicles have been recovered along with potential video evidence to aid in the investigations.

Police remind the community to speak to their neighbors and help each other by spotting criminal activities in their neighborhoods.

They say to be sure and report any suspicious activity to the police department.

Police also recommend installing security cameras with proper positioning focused on the parking spaces. Police say security lighting is also a good deterrent for criminal activity.

Everyone is encouraged to lock their vehicles and to remove any keys and valuables from your vehicles.
