CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) – More than 3,300 customers were without power across Southeast Missouri as storms moved through the region Monday morning.
Ameren Missouri:
Scott County: ~0 outages
Mississippi County: ~2 outages
St. Francois County: ~35 outages
Ameren Illinois reported outages in several counties as of 7:30 a.m. Monday, including:
Most counties (Jackson, Union, Perry, Randolph, Johnson) are showing
0–single digit outages
As of the latest available data Monday morning, outages are being reported through multiple utilities, including Jackson Purchase Energy Corporation, Kentucky Power, and Kentucky Utilities.
In western Kentucky specifically:
McCracken County (Paducah area)
~440 customers without power
This is currently the largest outage cluster in the state
Daviess County (Owensboro area)
0 outages reported
Kenergy Corporation (your western KY co-op)
~2 customers without power total
Additional outages are spread across utility service areas in the region, contributing to a statewide total of roughly 1,500+ customers without power.
