WAYNESVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) — Two people were arrested early Wednesday after Pulaski County deputies responded to a suspicious activity call at a vacant residence.
Deputies said the suspects, both from St. Louis, were taken into custody after methamphetamine, fentanyl capsules — commonly known as “beans” — and drug paraphernalia were seized at the scene.
The individuals were transported to the Pulaski County Jail, where they are being held on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance and trafficking a controlled substance.
Sheriff Stacy L. Ball thanked the resident who reported the activity, noting deputies were able to intervene before anything was stolen.
“If you see something suspicious, don’t wait — call us right away,” Ball said. “Because of the caller’s quick action, our deputies were able to respond in time.”
