Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office honors Kyle Davis with Certificate of Valor

PULASKI, Mo., (KBSI) – The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office awarded Kyle Davis the Certificate of Valor at the Commissioners’ meeting Monday for his heroic actions on Feb. 28, 2025.

Davis demonstrated extraordinary bravery by rescuing a victim from a burning vehicle after a rollover crash, despite facing extreme danger.

His selfless actions embody the essence of heroism, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The certificate reads, in part: “Your courage in that critical moment reflects the profound truth that ‘when the will defies fear, when duty throws the gauntlet down to fate, when honor scorns to compromise with death—that is heroism.'”

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office praised Davis’ outstanding act of valor, saying his actions serve as a beacon of selflessness and remind the community of the power of human compassion and duty.

Davis also received a Sheriff’s Office Coin.
