Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office seeks person of interest in burglary

PULASKI COUNTY, Mo., (KBSI) — The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying a person of interest in a burglary at Barnetts Dog Patch near the intersection of Highway 28 and Highway D.

According to Sheriff Stacy Ball, investigators are looking for a white man believed to be between 5 feet, 8 inches and 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 160 to 170 pounds.

The individual was reportedly wearing a red helmet without a face shield, a dark-colored Carhartt-style jacket and blue jeans.

Authorities said the man was riding a moped, possibly navy blue, with no visible license plate. The make and model are unknown.

Investigators are asking residents and businesses near Highway 28 and Highway D to review surveillance footage for anyone matching the description.

Anyone with information about the individual or the moped is asked to call 911 or the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office at 573-774-6196.

Authorities advise the public not to approach or confront the individual.

The sheriff’s office emphasized that the individual is a person of interest in the investigation and is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
