Railroad Crossing in Sikeston blocking off several streets

SIKESTON, Mo. (KBSI) – Sikeston DPS says BNSF reported a train broken down in Sikeston.

Update: 5:00 pm Tuesday January 7, the train has been moved and is no longer blocking the crossing.

The train is blocking several crossings and blocking streets off. 

Currently blocking crossings are at:

West North Street
West Malone Street
Ruth Street

According to Sikeston DPS BNSF says there is no estimated time of repair or removal.

BNSF advised they are working on the issue.
