Recovery center opens in Perryville for storm victims

PERRYVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) — A Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC) will be open on Jan. 18 to aid those affected by the recent winter and ice storm.

The MARC will operate from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Perry County Senior Center, 4 N. Spring St.

Residents are encouraged to bring photo identification and proof of address. Meals will be provided.

Available services will include:

— Insurance information
— Emotional and behavioral support
— SHAP benefits for eligible individuals
— Potential tree and debris removal
— Other disaster-related assistance

Local and state agencies, as well as human service organizations, will be on hand to answer questions and provide support.
