EVANSVILLE, Ind., (KBSI) — Southeast Missouri Redhawks will look to extend a three-game winning streak when they visit the Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles on Thursday night at Liberty Arena.

Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. CT.

Southeast Missouri enters the matchup with an 8-7 overall record and a 3-1 mark in Ohio Valley Conference play. The Redhawks are 2-0 in 2026 after home wins over Eastern Illinois and Western Illinois and have won six of their last seven games overall.

Southern Indiana is 3-11 overall and 0-4 in conference play. The Screaming Eagles have dropped six straight games and are still seeking their first OVC victory this season.

The Redhawks lead the all-time series 6-1 and have won five consecutive meetings with Southern Indiana, including a 79-74 victory in Evansville last season. Four of the last five matchups have been decided by five points or fewer.

Under coach Brad Korn, Southeast Missouri has posted a 3-1 start in OVC play for the second consecutive season. Korn enters Thursday’s game with 82 career wins at SEMO, second-most in the program’s Division I history, and is one victory shy of his 50th career conference win.

Southeast Missouri is averaging 79.4 points per game during its recent stretch while holding opponents to fewer than 70 points. The Redhawks are also among the conference leaders in turnover margin and have consistently outscored opponents in the second half.

Southern Indiana is led offensively by Ismail Habib, who ranks among the OVC leaders in 3-pointers made. The Screaming Eagles average 8.5 made 3s per game but are shooting under 40% from the field this season.

Following Thursday’s game, Southeast Missouri will continue its road trip Saturday at Morehead State.
