Relief fund set up to help eastern Kentucky flood victims

A relief fund is now set up to help Kentucky families who have been devastated by flooding.

In a tweet, Gov. Andy Beshear announced “Our Eastern Kentucky families need help. Today we established Team Eastern Kentucky Flood Relief Fund so people across our commonwealth and our country can help our families in need.”

Donations can be made online here. If you want to mail in a donation, make your check out to the Kentucky State Treasurer. In the memo line, note the donation is for the “Team Eastern Kentucky Flood Relief Fund.” Checks should be sent to Public Protection Cabinet, 500 Metro Street, 218 NC, Frankfort, Ky 40601.
