CHICAGO, IL. (KBSI) – As election season draws closer, we talked to National Delegate Brock Freeman as he attends the democratic national convention in Chicago, Illinois.
Freeman says “as you can see it’s exciting in here right now everyone you know jumping, singing, dancing you can feel the excitement in the room it’s electric, it’s exciting and I can’t wait for night to celebrate a bold vision for our future.”
As day two kicks off, we asked freeman what he saw during day one of the DNC that encourages him about the future, he says.
“We saw president Biden pass the torch to a new generation of democratic leaders we’re just were excited Joe Biden throughout his entire career has put America first always and last night was no different.”
Freeman went on to say that Biden had, “good judgment to pick Kamala Harris four years ago and Kamala Harris has been right there fighting alongside Joe Biden delivering for the American people and I’m excited to see her take the stage as we announce them as the next candidate for president and vice president of the United States.”
on the other side, we asked Republican consultant James Harris his thoughts on day one of the DNC.
Harris says he saw “more of the same policies that Kamala Harris or President Biden have been talking about that cause record inflation for most Missourians and it’s slowing down our economy and there was really no new policies initiatives last night or unifying uplifting message that I heard”
Harris pointed out the lack of new policies, he said.
“The policies over the last three years of the Biden Harris administration have lead to record inflation the highest in more than 40 years and that’s costing every Missourian more money for utility cost, food cost, gas cost, etc.”
Freeman is looking forward to day two of the DNC saying,” I’m Excited to continue in hear the Kamala Harris Tim Waltz vision for America as we celebrate the DNC here in Chicago.”
Harris added his thoughts on how conversations involving costs for local Missouri Residents saying, “they were talking about the border, but if you look at any data, we had nearly 13,000,000 illegal immigrants have entered in the country illegally that’s more than 75,000 here in Missouri l. That’s the estimates from the heritage foundation and that has a cost on cities, counties like cape and Scott county in southeast Missouri, etc.”
