Reward offered in Anna post office burglary investigation

ANNA, Ill., (KBSI) — The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for a burglary at the Anna Post Office.

Authorities said the burglary occurred sometime between 8 p.m. Dec. 1 and 6:30 a.m. Dec. 2 at the post office located at 201 N. Main St. in Anna.

The Postal Inspection Service warns the public not to take any action to apprehend suspects.

Anyone with information related to the burglary is asked to contact the U.S. Postal Inspection Service at 1-877-876-2455 and say, “Law Enforcement.” Callers should reference Case No. 4630246. All information will be kept confidential.
