Ribbon cut on Cape Noon Optimist Club Wheel Park addition at Arena Park

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce joined the Cape Noon Optimist Club and Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation on Thursday to celebrate the completion of the Cape Noon Optimist Club Wheel Park addition at Arena Park.

Officials held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the expansion, which adds space for children and teens to skate, ride and play.

Organizers thanked community members and supporters who helped bring the project, originally envisioned by Chris Huston, to completion.
