Ribbon cutting celebrates George’s Chicken in downtown Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to welcome George’s Chicken to the Cape Girardeau community.

George’s Chicken will offer made-to-order comfort food, including fried chicken, tenders, wings and traditional side dishes, in a casual, family-friendly setting.

The restaurant is not yet open, but an official opening is expected in the coming weeks.

Chamber officials said they are excited to see the new locally owned restaurant take shape in downtown Cape Girardeau.
