Ripley County deputies investigate reported chainsaw threat

DONIPHAN, Mo., (KBSI) — The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office responded Sept. 1 to a home along Highway 142 East in Doniphan for a reported domestic disturbance.
The victim told deputies that her boyfriend chased her with a running chainsaw during an argument. The suspect left before deputies arrived.
According to the sheriff’s office, the victim declined to pursue charges and left while deputies were at the scene.
