Road blocked in Benton, KY after water main break

BENTON, Ky. (KBSI) – The city of Benton has closed a section of KY 58/West 12th Street in Benton to allow for repairs to a water main.

KY 58/West 12th Street is blocked near the 10 mile marker between Olive Street and U.S. 641/Main Street in downtown Benton, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

The work is expected to take 8 to 10 hours to complete.

Drivers can self-detour via side streets.
