Road closure details for Scott City’s annual Halloween Event

SCOTT CITY, Mo. (KBSI) – Main Street in Scott City will be closed on Friday October 25, 2024, for an annual Halloween event.

Officers with the Scott City Police Department will be shutting down a section of Main Street from Lincoln Street to Jefferson Street around 3:40 pm and it will stay closed until 7 pm.

The event is held at the Scott City Parking lot, on the 1500 block of Main Street. 

Those attending the event are encouraged to enjoy the annual trunk or treat and activities and utilize safe parking.

Motorists that are not attending the event are asked to seek an alternate route while the event is happening.
