Road reopened after fallen tree blocked KY 116 in Fulton

FULTON, Ky., (KBSI) — A section of KY 116, also known as West State Line Road, has reopened after crews removed a large tree that blocked the roadway early Monday morning.

According to Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 1, the tree fell across the highway between U.S. 45 and Pearl Street, near Carr Elementary School, around 4:50 a.m.

Crews responded to remove the tree, and the roadway reopened at approximately **6:15 a.m.**

The temporary closure affected KY 116 between mile markers 12.8 and 13.3.
