Roll-over crash leaves one dead, one injured in McCracken County

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI)- On May 5, 2024, the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 4600 block of Lovelaceville Road regarding a roll-over motor vehicle collision.

The investigation revealed Kevin Yarbrough (64) of Paducah was operating a 2017 Porsche Macan SUV westbound on Lovelaceville Road.

Witnesses observed the Porsche traveling at a high rate of speed prior to navigating a curve in the roadway.

The vehicle lost control and left the roadway, rolling multiple times before coming to rest upside down in a field.

Yarbrough was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

A passenger in the vehicle, Randy Strickland (40) of Paducah was flown to an out-of-state hospital for treatment of incapacitating injuries.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by Lone Oak Fire Department, Mercy Regional Ambulance, McCracken County Coroner’s Office, and Harper’s Towing.
