Roof work prompts caution at Dunklin County facilities

DUNKLIN COUNTY, Mo., (KBSI) — The Dunklin County Sheriff’s Office is advising the public to use caution as roof replacement projects are underway at several county facilities.
Officials said construction is ongoing at the sheriff’s office, county jail and justice center, where visitors may encounter crews, equipment and temporary changes to entrances and walkways.
Authorities are urging visitors to remain alert, follow posted signage and use designated entrances during the construction period.
Sheriff Nick Darter said the improvements are part of ongoing efforts to upgrade county facilities.
