Runners compete in City2City Run and Relay from Jackson to Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – Several runners competed in the sixth City2City Run and Relay Sunday, April 10 from Jackson to Cape Girardeau.

Runners could choose between the full distance individually, approximately 9.2 miles, or compete as a two or three-person relay. The 9.2 mile course started at HealthPoint Fitness in Jackson and ended at the Osage Centre in Cape.

There were 75 runners registered including the captains and angels from MTT.

Awards were given for 10-year age groups, 1st through 3rd place, and first place teams in each relay category.

All proceeds go to the City of Cape Foundation and myTEAM Triumph.

Nathan Stearns, 26, of Cape Girardeau won first male.

Carol Winter, 60, of Uniontown won first female.
