Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary seeking stuffed animal donations for dogs

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) – Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary is asking for donations of gently used stuffed animals to help provide enrichment for its dogs.
The sanctuary said the dogs enjoy playing with stuffed toys and have currently run out. While the dogs do tend to destroy the toys, staff say the activity is an important form of mental stimulation and enrichment.
Anyone who has stuffed animals that are no longer wanted and would like to donate them is encouraged to contact Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary.
