Safehouse of Southeast Missouri honors volunteers, supporters at annual luncheon

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) –The Safe House of Southeast Missouri held its annual luncheon and award ceremony Thursday, Aug. 28, at the Century Casino Event Center in Cape Girardeau.
Executive Director Jessica Hill highlighted the Safe House’s impact over the past year, noting that 564 clients were provided safety from domestic violence, 815 hotline calls were answered, and 4,232 hours of client service were recorded.
The event honored the contributions of the organization’s volunteers, partners, donors and staff.
