Saint Francis Healthcare System holds ribbon cutting for new Gynecologic Oncology unit

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) – Saint Francis Healthcare System will host an open house Oct. 7 for its new clinic in East Prairie.

The event took place from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at 402 N. Washington, with a blessing scheduled for 4 p.m. Visitors toured the facility and learned more about services available in the community.

The Saint Francis Clinic – East Prairie is set to open to patients Oct. 13. The new location replaces the former clinic at 320 N. Lincoln and will offer primary care, behavioral health services, onsite lab testing and imaging.

Hospital officials said the facility was designed for patient comfort and convenience and will feature state-of-the-art equipment and a team of providers focused on delivering personalized care.

Saint Francis Healthcare System, founded in 1875 by Franciscan Sisters, is anchored by Saint Francis Medical Center, a 306-bed tertiary hospital in Cape Girardeau. The system employs nearly 3,000 people and includes more than 250 providers in 10 communities.
