Saint Francis to host Blessing of Hands ceremony

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Saint Francis Healthcare System is hosting a Blessing of Hands ceremony to honor the dedication of healthcare professionals.

The ceremony, open to the public, will be held May 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Saint Francis Medical Center.

Deacon Tony Peters, RN, BSN, Mission Integration Manager, said the ceremony is a way to express gratitude for the compassion and commitment of healthcare workers.

The event will celebrate the hands that bring healing, comfort and care to patients every day.
