Saline County Sheriff’s deputies investigating assault
SALINE COUNTY, Ill. (KBSI) – Saline County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an assault that occurred on the bike path between Liberty Road and Ledford Road.
Sheriff’s deputies described the suspect as a black male in his late teens/early 20s. He was wearing a dark shirt, long shorts and pink shoes.
Anyone who sees someone matching this description on the bike path between Poplar Street and Carrier Mills between the hours of 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. is asked to contact the Saline County Sheriff’s Office at 618-252-8661.
Anyone with security cameras in that area is asked to review them and contact the sheriff’s office if he/she has a photo or video of the person.
