Salvation Army of Cape Girardeau prepares for Thanksgiving

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI)- The Salvation Army in Cape Girardeau is preparing for their Thanksgiving meal.
This meal is free, and anyone in need can come by to grab a plate.
Salvation Army Captain Lily Reinier says that doors open for the meal at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and volunteers are welcome to come help at 10:30 that morning, “It’s helping give back into the community, for the people who may not have a spot to go for a meal, or people who just don’t want to cook a meal they can come in and have a meal.”
Reinier says this is just one way they can give back to the community, wanting to help as many people as they can.
