School Closings Jan. 29th

SOUTHEAST MISSOURI — Several schools in the region have announced closures or virtual learning due to illness.

The following schools will be closed or virtual through Jan. 31:

— Chaffee R-II School District: Closed, with AMI days 1 and 2 in effect.
— East Prairie R-2 School District: Virtual learning.
— Immaculate Conception of Jackson: Closed.
— St. Vincent dePaul Cape Elementary: Closed, with AMI days in effect.

The following schools will be closed on Thursday:

— Kelso C-7 School District: Closed due to illness.
— The Christian Academy: Closed.

Trinity Lutheran School will be closed from Jan. 28-31 due to illness.

New Madrid County R-1 Schools are closed through the 31st due to illness.
