Scott City deputies execute search warrant
SCOTT CITY Mo. (KBSI) – Officers with the Scott City Police Department, and Deputies with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant on the evening of February 29.
The search lead to three people being taken into custody.
Scott City Chief of Police, Chris Griggs said, “As a result of the search, we located some very dangerous narcotics, an undisclosed amount of US currency, and some weapons.”
According to law enforcement, Richard Ozment has been charged with allegedly trafficking drugs, unlawful use of a weapon, and also endangering the welfare of a child. Tanure Wagner and Jamie Wheeler has been with similar alleged crimes.
Authorities located and collected very dangerous narcotics, weapons, and an undisclosed amount of cash. All three remain in custody at Scott City Police Department.
