Scott City honor choir visits residents of Lutheran Home

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – The Lutheran Home of Cape Girardeau got a pleasant surprise!

On Thursday November 7, led by Director Heather Helle, Scott City Elementary honor choir took a trip to the Lutheran Home and sang patriotic songs for the residents.

The Lutheran Home says the children sang music that was both ‘patriotic and soul searching’.

Students and residents both shared heartwarming smiles and hugs afterwards making it a memorable event for all ages.
