Scott City Police Department observes Missing Persons week

SCOTT CITY, Mo., (KBSI) – The Scott City Police Department is observing Missing Persons Week, April 14-19, by displaying yellow ribbons on its patrol vehicles.

The gesture is in recognition of Cheryl Anne Scherer, who went missing from the community 46 years ago.

The department aims to raise awareness about missing persons cases and their impact on local communities.
