Scott City police investigate vehicle thefts, overnight break-ins

SCOTT CITY, Mo., (KBSI) — Scott City police are investigating multiple reports of vehicle break-ins and a stolen vehicle reported overnight.

According to the Scott City Police Department, officers have been working several theft cases involving vehicles and are asking residents to take precautions to protect their property.

Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles, homes and other locations where unauthorized entry may occur.
