Scott City woman charged with sodomy arrested in Cape Girardeau County

SCOTT CITY, Mo. (KBSI) – A woman facing a statutory sodomy charge in Scott County was arrested in Cape Girardeau County on Wednesday, May 6.

Scott City Police Chief Chris Griggs says Taylor Mansker was arrested at a home in rural Cape Girardeau County.

The Scott City Judicial Circuit filed charges after complaints were made to the police department. Upon further investigation, officers charged

Taylor Mansker faces statutory sodomy or attempted statutory sodomy-deviate sexual intercourse- person less that 12 years of age.

The agency made several attempts to locate Mansker.

“To our understanding, she was a resident of Scott City, but we’ve since discovered potential places she may be. So, we’ve reached out to those agencies as well,” said Scott City Police Chief Chris Griggs before Mansker was arrested.
