Scott County celebrates grand opening of new Justice Center

SCOTT COUNTY, Mo., (KBSI) – Scott County officials celebrated the grand opening of the new Scott County Justice Center on Friday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and public open house.

The event featured a flag ceremony, remarks from elected officials and a ribbon cutting to mark the opening of the facility.

Because of the weather, the ceremony was moved indoors to a courtroom inside the Justice Center.

Following the program, the public was invited to tour the new building until 11 a.m.

The new Justice Center will serve as the home for several county offices and judicial operations, providing updated facilities for court services and county government.
