Search underway for missing Graves County woman

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) — Authorities are searching for a missing 73-year-old woman with dementia after she reportedly walked away from her home in Graves County early Thursday morning.
The Graves County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were dispatched at approximately 6:49 a.m. Thursday, July 9, to the Wilferd Road area just outside Farmington for a report of a missing elderly woman.
According to investigators, Phyllis Duncan was last seen sometime between 11 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, and 5:45 a.m. Thursday, July 9, after leaving on foot.
Duncan is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing approximately 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white shirt with blue stripes and beige shorts.
Family members told deputies Duncan has dementia.
Deputies, firefighters and other first responders are searching the area. Anyone with information on Duncan’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Graves County Sheriff’s Office immediately.
