Second arrest made in Calloway County murder, arson investigation

MURRAY, Ky. (KBSI) — A Murray woman has been arrested in connection with an ongoing murder and arson investigation in Calloway County.

According to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office, 40-year-old Kayla Rosson was arrested July 10 in connection with the investigation into a homicide and arson reported May 19 on Saddlebrook Lane.

Investigators allege Rosson destroyed physical evidence related to the crimes.

Rosson was lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.

She is charged with two counts of tampering with physical evidence, both Class D felonies.

The investigation remains ongoing.
