SEMO CIT Council to host third annual cornhole tournament fundraiser in Jackson

JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) — The SEMO Crisis Intervention Team Council will host its third annual cornhole tournament on Aug. 22 at Wings Etc. in Jackson.

Registration begins at 11:30 a.m., with tournament play scheduled to start at 1 p.m.

The event will feature a silent auction, raffle baskets and CIT-themed merchandise.

Organizers encourage teams to preregister through the Scoreholio app using the event’s QR code. Participants who are unable to register in advance will be able to receive assistance with Scoreholio registration on the day of the tournament.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will support the SEMO CIT Council and its efforts to provide crisis intervention training for first responders throughout the region.

The event is open to the public.
