SEMO Food Bank receives truckload of fresh milk for regional distribution

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The SEMO Food Bank recently received a truckload of fresh milk through support from Feeding America, helping expand access to nutritious food for families across Southeast Missouri.
The milk is being distributed to partner agencies throughout the region and will be available through upcoming food distributions and pantry programs.
Food bank officials said fresh dairy products are among the most requested items and can help children, seniors and families stretch their grocery budgets.
The SEMO Food Bank thanked Feeding America and its network of partner agencies for helping ensure nutritious food reaches neighbors throughout Southeast Missouri.
Officials said the partnership helps strengthen communities and provide food assistance to families when they need it most.
