SEMO partners with New Madrid County R-1 School District

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Southeast Missouri State University is partnering with the New Madrid County R-1 School District through the SEMO Educators Advantage program.

The program provides New Madrid faculty and staff with access to academic growth and professional development opportunities, including tuition discounts on SEMO’s online programs.

“We’re excited to welcome the New Madrid R-1 School District to the SEMO Educators Advantage program,” said SEMO President Dr. Carlos Vargas. “At SEMO, we believe in the power of education to transform communities.”

The partnership aims to support educators in furthering their education, ultimately strengthening the long-term success of schools and students.
