CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Southeast Missouri Regional Economic Development Inc. has launched a publication examining the trends, challenges and opportunities affecting the region’s economy.
The first issue of “Industry Insights” focuses on workforce development and the demographic and economic changes reshaping the labor market. It also highlights how regional organizations are working to attract, develop and retain employees.
“The Fourth Industrial Revolution is changing how industries operate, how people work and how communities compete,” SEMO REDI CEO Shad Burner said. “We created Industry Insights because we believe our region benefits from thoughtful conversations about these changes and the opportunities they present.”
Future editions will explore other economic development issues using regional data, local perspectives and practical ideas for business and community leaders.
The first edition is available at semoredi.com/industryinsights.
