SEMO students host Denim Day awareness event

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Members of SEMO Alpha Phi are participating in Denim Day to raise awareness about sexual assault and support survivors.

The group is hosting an event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Kent Library, where students can take part in activities, games and educational efforts focused on awareness.

Organizers said the event aims to encourage community involvement and promote conversations about sexual assault prevention.
