Senior Information Day set for Sept. 4 in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Area seniors are invited to attend Senior Information Day on Sept. 4 at Eagles Aerie #3775, 321 N. Spring.

The free event, scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., will feature a Q&A session with representatives from local law enforcement agencies, including the Cape Girardeau Police Department, Jackson Police Department and Missouri Highway Patrol.

Attendees can also explore vendor booths offering senior-focused resources and services, and participate in door prize drawings. A free lunch will be provided.

Doors open at 8:30 a.m. The event aims to provide seniors with valuable safety and community information, as well as opportunities to connect with local law enforcement and other seniors.
