Several roads closed due to flooding after heavy rain
(KBSI) – Several roads in the FOX23 viewing area are closed due to water over the road.
The Missouri Department of Transportation reports water over the road in a few counties in southeast Missouri.
Butler County
- Route CC north and southbound closed due to flooding
Madison County
- Route V north and southbound closed due to flooding
Mississippi County
- US-62 east and westbound due to flooding
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet reports water over roads in several counties in western Kentucky due to heavy rainfall overnight Monday.
As of 8:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4, KYTC reports:
Calloway County
- KY 783/Crossland Rd has Water Over Road signs posted at the 4.25mm south of the Wiswell community near Jackson Creek and Middle Fork Clarks River
Carlisle County
- KY 1628 is open between the 2 and 4mm
- KY 1820 is closed between the 1 and 2mm
- U.S. 62 is open at the 3 to 4mm in West Fork Creek Bottoms between Bardwell and the KY 121 4-Way Stop – KYTC personnel monitoring traffic with signs posted
Fulton County
- KY 1907/Swamp Rood Road has Water Over Road signs posted between KY 94 and KY 781
McCracken County
- KY 1255/Bonds Road at the 1 to 2mm between KY 994 and KY 450/Oaks Rd
Marshall County
- KY 1462/Benton-Birmingham Rd is closed with signs posted at the 1 to 2mm due to floodwaters at the Clarks River Bridge
Trigg County
- KY 1507/Barefield Rd at the 1mm between KY 958/Montgomery Rd and KY 128/Wallonia Road
