Several vehicles hit by gunfire in Carbondale

CARBONDALE, Ill. (KBSI) – Carbondale police ask anyone with information about multiple shots fired early Sunday morning to call them.

Officers responded to the 900 block of East Grand regarding multiple reports of shots fired at 3:22 a.m. on June 9.

Officers did not find anyone injured. No injuries were reported.

Officers found several vehicles that had been struck by gunfire.

Police say there was a gathering of known acquaintances who were in a dispute that ended in gunfire.

No suspect information was available.
